A group of 37 Rotary Exchange students from Germany, Hungary, Turkey and Holland visited Barberton over the weekend as part of a 10-day tour in the Lowveld.
The students were in South Africa for six weeks and stayed with families in Gauteng and Mpumalanga. Four of them were hosted in Barberton.
Not only did they visit Tiger Trap to do some gold panning with Danny Brink but they stayed over at Barberton High School and had the opportunity to see how Barbertonians enjoy the Barber Reef Festival before departing for the Kruger National Park on Sunday.
At the festival the group enjoyed a spitbraai the real South African way.
Trying their hand at gold panning are Lennart Knoche, Zoltan Deak-Ilko, Tamaz Coozik and Patrick Klesse who were hosted by families in Barberton Some of the exchange students in front of Tiger Trap
