Rochelle Visser (15) was recently crowned as the Timeless Teen of Mpumalanga. She is a pupil at Barberton High School and moved here with her mother in 2009.

Although quiet and seemingly shy at the honour bestowed on her this was not the first competition that she won.

Her proud mother, Elsie said that she had won a baby competition when she was only three months old and was also crowned as Miss Elsie at the Elspark Primary School (Boksburg).

Rochelle did not plan to enter for the competition and did not even know about it, but was spotted by Amanda van Zyl, Mrs South Africa finalist, at Mug and Bean and asked if she wanted to enter.

She told Barberton Times that she and her mother visited the Timeless Face website and decided to give it a go and like the saying goes, the rest was history.

She was one of twelve finalists that participated in the finals held during August at the show grounds in Nelspruit.

The glamorous affair was hosted by Jacques Lombard of the Timeless group and Rochelle shared the stage with stars like Amor Vittone.

Rochelle was very surprised with the outcome of the competition but excited about the prospect to participate in the finals of the Timeless Teen South Africa later this year.
