Description of establishment: Nestled at the foot of the breathtaking Makhonjwa Mountains range you will find Fountain Baths Guest House. It was built in the 1884 as a baths house for the gold diggers in the area, it boast the oldest swimming pool in the old Transvaal.
Today, Fountain Baths still revives the senses as a welcome retreat for travelers exploring this history-rich part of South Africa.
Fountain Baths is perfectly situsted within walking distance from town. It's garden extends to the very foot of mountains. Majestis trees and lush vegetation make this a brider's paradise. Vervet and samango monkeys, baboons and giant bush babies are regular visitors to this garden.
Part of the oldest rock formation in the world can be found at Fountain Baths Guest House premises.
All accommodation is self catering with bathrooms ensuit, rooms have been decorated for style and comfort and they all have their own entrances into garden. Rates R200.00 per person sharing, R250.00 single person, R130.00 children under 12 years, R30.00 breakfast and evening meals on request.
